The next United Kingdom general election is scheduled to be held no later than 24th January, 2025.
This will determine the composition of the United Kingdom Parliament’s House of Commons, the nature of the government and balance of power.
There are now 21 months remaining to organise support for an increased number of independent candidates to improve the response of the governance of this nation to the needs of all constituents through more appropriate policies selected on the basis of public choice.

Britain's working population needs governance that responds directly to their priority needs ... | This site provides a web presence to explore the options and potential benefits for the United Kingdom to increase the number of independent MPs who are not under the management or whips of party machines.
The two main political party duopoly consisting of the Conservative and Labour parties is very obviously merging into a "uniparty" resulting in a lack of effective choice for the electorate of this country.
These parties have been associated, for some 50 years, with a decline in the standing of the United Kindom and its economy as a result of policies that have resulted in a shrinking industrial sector, falling investment, productivity and real wages. There has been an expansion in a very low wage services sector and increasing poverty.
>A sign of Britain's manufacturing decline in the competitivity and quality of production is the fall in international position of the country's balance of payments for goods to amongst the most negative categories.
Inappropriate decisions in the field of foreign policy and security with the full supoort of the uniparty have witnessed a pursposeful avoidance of a peaceful settlement in A sustainable NHS is an essential desire of all ... |
Ukraine during the period 2014 to 2022 under the Minsk agreement and a desire to engage in military preparation for a campaign that is failing and which has had the direct result of depleting our military assets and creating a serious inflation and energy price crisis impacting this country.
Many consider the willingness of the uniparty to engage in many military ventures to be the reason we face a constant problem of the "small boats" bringing those whose own countries have been devastated by our military interventions. The uniparty has a lametable record in conflict avoidance as well as conflict resolution.
The condition of the National Health Service and of those working within it are unacceptable. There is an obvious obfuscation of the uniparty concerning their intent with respect to privatization and a public service basis of operation. Scotland requires a just settlement .... | The issues of social care and mental health remain unresolved. There remains an unacceptable reluctance of the uniparty to engage in productive transparent reviews concerning these matters.
The assumption that our current macroeconomic policies adhere to a robust theory and practice needs to be brought in question because, the uniparty, irrespective of conditions, have imposed a constant state of austerity or "consume less and work more, for less" as is evident from the current uniparty's refusal to engage, in good faith, in meeting with those constituents who are striking because of declining real wages.
The uniparty often refers to growth and supply side solutions but a review of the levelling up plans shows very few initiatives that contain any means of calculating the expected suatainability of any real growth.
